Course Level: Intermediate

Course Description: Basic theory and applications of the ultrasonic techniques of materials testing covering the theoretical material from the certification test for Ultrasonic Level I American Society of Non-Destructive Testing.

Learning Outcomes: Identify the characteristics of metal with ultrasonic tests; outline the procedure for conducting ultrasonic tests; conduct a straight and angle beam examination; and conduct an ultrasonic test on metal samples.
